Get A Luscious, Kissable Pout!!

Today's beauty tip: 

Well our lips are one of the most visible yet the most ignored when it comes to our regular cleansing and exfoliating regime. Even though we love to paint and pout for a great photo section, we don't give them the much needed attention they deserve. We often forget that lots of these lipsticks and glosses turn to have diverse effect on our lips, especially if your 'lippies' contain alcohol or acid based ingredients, the harsh weather conditions don't  make it any better as well, leaving them chapped flaky and dry, which even makes kissing uncomfortable and not so sexy. So if you're suffering from chapped dry lips, here is a great exfoliating tip for you to to try out, I have been doing this as part of my beauty regime and I assure you, it works like magic. You instantly feel the smooth velvety skin of your lips, plus you get rid of the dead skin cells and give life to a new luscious kissable lips. It also brings out your lip colour and helps it stay longer. 

Ok, so for that moist, silky, smooth velvety lips, mix sugar and olive oil in a bowl till it's like a thick paste, dip a finger in the mixture and rub it gently on your lips in a circular motion, paying attention to the roughest area, now once you're done, wash it off with a warm water. Apply a lip balm or vaseline to seal in the moisture. Plus oh, you get that sweet aftertaste too... :-) 

You can also use a toothbrush and vaseline. Apply the vaseline on your lips and gently exfoliate your lips with the toothbrush in a slow circular motion, paying attention to the chapped, dry areas. Always remember to moisturize with a lip balm, vaseline or any other lip cream to lock in the moisture when you finish. 

Do this at least three times a week for a luscious kissable soft, smooth lips. Please get a separate soft tooth brush for that. I use the toddler tooth brush because it's soft of course and not too big. Do not exert a lot of pressure when exfoliating, you do not want to have sore cracked lips. Avoid licking your lips, it only makes it even more dry and sore... Now apply your lip cream or balm followed by your lipstick or gloss or in however way you love to apply your 'lippies' and pout for the world to see the gorgeous lips you've got!

This tip very much applies to our men as well, please do this for that soft lips, just leave out the lipstick and glossy bit lol... but by all means do the matte balm if you may. Now give her that silky smooth kiss she deserves... 

There are some already made lip scrubs you can purchase for that same purpose. There is the vanilla scrub, the bubblegum scrub, lemon scrub etc... Grab you some and get rid of chapped flaky lips forever!!
